Poverty comes in all sizes, colors and ethnicity. While most think of it as someone very thin and frail. However, it may be the heavy and undernourished. It may appear as behavior problems in the classroom because being hunger brings out the worst in anyone. Look past the surface and be willing to search deep for the real source of the behavior.
